The tensile structure for the Lalla Grill
Restaurant, located at the Del Monte
Shopping Center in Monterey, California, covers
nearly 1,000 square feet over the outdoor patio
dining area. Three saddle shaped membranes
are made with Ferrari 702-T2 PVC fabric and
supported with stainless steel cables and
fittings from Frontier Technologies.
Working with Riddell & Riddell Architects, Eide
assisted with the engineering design and
planning phases of this project to build and
install the shade structure without any budget
increases to the client and ahead of schedule to
make the grand opening. Eide Industries, Inc.
has the ability to deliver successful products
on time by keeping control of every phase in
house including: Design, AutoCAD drafting, 3D
modeling, project management, membrane
fabrication, frame manufacturing, delivery and
