PROJECT SUMMARY
Eide Industries, Inc. completed the successful fabrication and installation of the shade structure system designed by RJM Design Group for the Belmont Plaza Outdoor Pool in Long Beach, California. The tension structure is part of a $4.6 million project designed as a five-year interim solution, while the historic Long Beach Olympic Pool Facility is being rebuilt. Today, the 140′ long fabric structure provides sun protection for patrons and spectators over the 300-person bleacher section which is now open to the public for swimming lessons, water polo and other aquatic activities; everything except diving.
