PROJECT SUMMARY

For the PGA West Stadium Clubhouse in La Quinta, California, we worked closely with the facility management team and the general contractor to provide an economical tensioned fabric awning solution that fit the project’s budget and simultaneously met the architect’s requirements. Most of the design details were defined initially by Eide Industries, Inc. using 3D modeling software which allowed for a quick design approval, easier permitting and engineering analysis to meet the construction deadlines.

The tensioned fabric awning called for white Ferrari 1002 T2 fabric with stainless steel catenary cables and fittings to provide an elegant finish to enhance the clubhouse atmosphere while covering a total area of 1,292 square feet. The 72′ long by 17′ projection awning frame components were created with durable pinned and bolted connections to allow for a simple design for a quick field installation.
