PROJECT SUMMARY

Johnson Memorial Hospital awarded Keystone Construction with the development of a new medical office building, primary care and medical space located in Greenwood, Indiana. Keystone approached Eide Industries to assist with the design-build of a tension structure to enhance the main entrance with the goal of providing an uplifting first impression for all visitors.

As the steel frame changes elevations around the perimeter, it allowed the Serge Ferrari Precontraint TX30 Fabric to find equilibrium in an anticlastic shape, providing a three dimensional shape that dynamically changes depending on your point of view.  The inspiring and iconic Tensioned Fabric Structure was successfully designed and engineered for 115 MPH wind-loads and 20 PSF snow-loads, while utilizing lightweight fabric to provide a soft translucency to the whole structure.
