PROJECT SUMMARY

Next time you are in Pittsburgh, try sitting on the patio of the Hofbrauhaus at the South Shore Riverfront Park for a view of the dual cone PVC tension structure that shades the stage. It was installed in the summer of 2011 along with the full overhaul of landscaping and many new businesses. The steep slope of the canopy will resist the potential problems of snow loads. Custom membrane plates were design to accommodate the tapering fabric angles at the ends of the long struts.
